Oh Lardy. Someone has a chip on their shoulder. Much ado about nothing. The civil war is over, because the Confederates had their arses kicked a hundred and forty odd years ago. Sounds to me as if someone is looking for an excuse to whine.

We should fly the one we have flown for over a century regardless of any original meaning or intent as it is our country's flag, the one which we know and which we are known by.

This guy sounds as if he's a few eggs shy of an omlette. This statement alone is sufficient to make me question his grip on reality: "The U.S. government hasn't flown the civil flag since the Civil War, as that war is still going on. Peace has never been declared, nor have hostilities against the people ended. The government is still operation under quasi-military rule."
