As an atheist that beleives Jesus existed, then from his father - a normal human being. I beleive Jesus was a great man - note MAN not a god or a son of god. Great question. However thats my opinion - I dont mean to offend - and hope others can take comfort in the fact that I will go to hell if I am wrong! Im not going to worry.

Christian religious perspective: G-d. Non-Christian perspective: Joseph.

Jesus's mother conceived through the power of the Holy Spirit. He go all of his chromosomes from God. He was made human by a miracle and not through normal means. Just like God created Adam he created a body for Christ.

Perhaps they new how to clone two eggs like they did with dolly the lamb, and Jesus didn't actually have any Y chromosomes.

The milkman. Mary then lied to Joseph because she didn't want him to learn about her relationship with the milkman. So, she invented a story about how god put the child in her. She thought it'd blow over after a few months. Two thousand years later, we still believe her rumor. My opinion, at least.

Christians believe that Christ was conceived through the action of the Holy Spirit, therefore his chromosomes were created by God Himself.

If God can create Adam with a Y-chromosome, then I'm sure He had one for Jesus as well, same with Isaac and any other spirit-born person. That's what I thought anyway :)

Joseph... I mean... come on! A newly wed couple and she is a virgin?! Are you kidding me???
-
Jesus had both a human nature and a divine nature, so we can assume that at least half of his chromosomes came from the Virgin Mary. And perhaps all but the Y chromosome might have been mere duplication of the Virgin's chromosomes, with her second X chromosome reduced by divine gene surgery to a Y. It seems, however, likelier that God, the ultimate genetic engineer, would have selected from available genetic material exactly the genes He wanted and in the order He wanted so that Jesus would look and sound in a way that would truly reflect God's nature. In other words--half the chromosomes from Mary, and half from God, but NOT in the carnal and fleshly way that Mormons teach.

He got it from Gabriel when he came into Mary.
