Yes. At last count, there were 69 of them.

I can only think of one. "The Westboro Baptist Church". Really sick folk, they picket gay funerals and everything.
-
I don't think they are very big. I seen the preacher on an interview on FOX a few years back. They were picketing funerals of soldiers claiming that they were gay. The interviewer tore that "preacher" a new butthole. -- That is the only time I have ever heard such a bunch of crap.

They are very, very tiny. But you can spot them by the red glow from the back of their necks!

Their numbers are very, very small, but their voices are very, very loud. Others here have talked about the Westboro Baptist Church (the group that protests at the funerals of servicemen and women who died in the line of duty). I am gay and I have my disagreements (not surprisingly) with religious fundamentalists in the U.S. They have very strong feelings on the subject, but the overwhelmingly vast majority do not have one hateful bone in their bodies. And they are, if anything, even more upset with the Westboro folks than I am -- because they know they run the risk of being lumped in with the nutcases. Personally, I think the fact that they always, without fail, come right out and condemn the Westboro folks for the stunts they pull is good enough for me. I don't share their views overall, but I do not feel hated. Just disagreed with. And that's just an unavoidable consequence of free speech.
