Why is it so hard for people to accept others' differences as to what they are or aren't in to? If one person likes the Twilight series and one person likes the Harry potter series then why do they have to hate each other for having different opinions?

LoL. Well...I dont treat anybody different cuz I like bones, and they like 2 1/2 men. Or whatever scenario. ... I think that is silly....I suppose the people who do do it though do it becuase it gives em alittle spice in life. Like the red team and the blue team...and gives em sumpin to fued about. Its the passion behind your passion

I think people have a hard time agreeing to disagree. Many immediately jump to the conclusion that if you disagree with them, you are personally attacking them. A lot of people's self-esteem is based on being right. They will defend their opinion without opening themselves up the slightest bit to hear where the other person is coming from. This is too bad. I always think the world would be a pretty boring place if we were all the same. Good question!

People can't except the fact that they could be the same as the person who has different opinions. I think it scares them to death. Most of the time these type of people are very closed minded and care for only themselves. ok - thats just my opinion.
