My husband refuses to get any flu shot. I got a flu shot last week (not for swine flu) and was sick for 2 days. That just made him tell me why I shouldn't get it! But I found that the years I get a flu shot I don't get sick; at least usually. I've only been sick after getting a flu shot twice in all these years.

I will not be getting it myself.The swine flu is just a strain of flu,no more dangerous that any other form of flu.If a study was done comparing the sickness rate and rate of death of other common flu's that are out every year it would be about the same as them. Also the shortage of the vaccine is just a marketing ploy.Remember the Cabbage Patch Doll and other toys that are popular towards Christmas.They make sure they do not make enough so when the season is over people will flock like sheep to buy them when more come out.It is the same with the vaccine,do not make enough,create fear,than make a bundle of money.I do not buy into this thinking. Making a decision on flu shots is not the same as a decision of buying jeans,for it is a health concern,so making an educated decision seems sensible.
