The Quran says nothing about having to wear such '"garb". It is a man made rule. Islam places all responsibility for sexual attraction...good or bad...on the female... and fopr some unknown reason, men have no responsibility in this matter at all. Notice how they dress ???.

As far as I know the Koran requires women to dress modestly. I will be so glad if they decide this. It will be true progress. Well done them for even considering it.

I agree with the them 100%. I am a Muslim woman, I have read the quran, it does not say cover your hair... men have made these rules... it is completely ridiculous and I agree with the Canadian Congress. I feel very strongly about it. by the way what is the Canadian Muslim Congress? Is there a Canadian Christian Congress? Sorry I have no clue about that.
