I don't care. This cross had been there already. Let it go. It's not being used to propagate religion. Some things are just like 'god we trust' on the money. They're just there. No need to make a big deal out of it. Make a big deal out of the real big deals.
I don't care. It can have any or no kind of memorial as long as it does not cost anything more; such as the costs of the Supreme Court judges to make this horrendous decision. +5
FYI, the cross was on the property before it was donated to the govt and so it should be grandfathered in as it was there long ago.
New or proposed shrines or crosses wouldn't be allowed now.
Yeah no religious stuff should on gov property.
I also do like that our money says (in god we trust)
The Public own these government facilities. There is nothing wrong in erecting a cross.Nor does one have to give equal time to other religions. This country is Christian by custom and tradition. The Church doesn't need the state except to ensure that the practice of religion is protected but the state cannot exist without the Christian religion and its morals. It ought not debase itself by removing a symbol of our heritage.Reminders of our religious origins ought to placed in all public places whether Jews, the ACLU,atheists,Moslems or whoever claim to be offended. There is no such thing as sepatation of Church and State anywhere in the Constitution and many erroneous and dangerous precedents have been formed on this fiction.

You're reading A case is currently in the U. S. Supreme Court regarding a cross erected in a natioan park. Do you agree or disagree that religious symbols do not belong in government facilities?
