I used to and I'm still trying to get rid of all the junk that piled up over the years. I'm seriously downsizing and refuse to buy anything now unless I know I absolutely need it - definitely no more ornaments!

Considering approximately 98% of what I buy are convenience and/or luxury items, then... ...YES...I almost ALWAYS buy things I don't need.

yes all the time, impulse items. have several drawers full of things i have brought and will probably never use.

Don't most of us to some degree or another? I'm in the midst of a serious purge of all my crap, what I can sell is going on ebay or similar sites, what I can't gets donated, and what the donations places won't take gets either tossed or set out on the curb with a 'free' sign.
