Nope. I don't argue with him in private either. We usually manage to come to an agreement civilly in a way that respects both of our needs.
-
Sometimes, but it has to be talked about calmly. When I am upset I tend to yell and fuss.
-
not really
-
I don't argue with my wife ... period. Nothing in my life is worth it. I would rather die than do anything to make her unhappy.
-
public-private-waking up-note-it takes two to tango
-
try not to.
-
Yes, I punched her in the face once.
-
Very rarely. If we are upset with each other, we'll give each other "the look", but discuss it in private.
-
Sometimes, but it is the fierce whispering kind of arguing. USually happens when we haven't stopped to eat and both have low blood sugar, after we eat it is alllll better.
-
sometimes :-O
-
yes i do cant help it forget where i am.
-
We never argue. +5
-
No, we never argue in public. We even made a pact that if we have kids, we wouldn't argue in front of them either. When we argue, it is behind closed doors and we never yell.
-
my strange estranged wife and i had once taken our kids to disneyworld. i waited for 1 hour in the hot sun with my kids and my multiple sclerosis while she shopped alone. when our son woke up, we walked over to get ice cream. when we got back, her face was red with anger and she screamed at me for 10 minutes while passers-by stopped and watched. she'd even scream at me when she'd stop by the office in front of my patients. of my s/o's, she's the only person who ever lost in like she did in public.
-
Never. We also don't argue in private. We simply don't argue. Do we have differences of opinion? Yep. We talk it over..we discuss..but argue? Nope. We left that behind years ago! :)
-
I find arguing in public to be disrespectful and embarrassing for everyone involved...and if the person I am with persists in doing this, especially if they are one of those emotional, illogical, loud wacko people that feel the need to argue at top volume about some trivial little thing and in the process dredge up old fights and then announce to everyone in the grocer that you only have one testicle..well that kind of behaviour is a deal breaker in my book. In my experience partners that cannot control themselves in public tend to be irrational, dramatic, manipulative, childish, selfish people. Been there, done that and I refuse to act that way in public and air my dirty laundry to the general public. I won't have it in my life, I have much more respect for myself and my gf than that, and I demand that same level of respect in return. And let's not forget, not only will people in public see you, but some of them might film you and put your stupid ass on Youtube or something.
-
We try not to and when we do we try to keep it quiet. Unfortunately, we work together so we sometimes run into friction at the store. We do try to keep it as civil as possible as it's very bad to argue in front of the employees.
-
We don't in public, and we very very rarely do in front of the kids. I think both is in bad taste.
-
Same as the ones who answered prior to this, no we don't argue. I find it tactless and disrespectful to my significant other. I hated being scolded in public when I was a kid so I would know how the other person is feeling if I'm calling him out in plain view.
-
No, not anywhere. We feel it is more productive to talk things out and see it from the others viewpoint. We have differences but never make it into a battle. There is never a winner and loser. If there were, then one of us would be a loser and we just won't have that, we both want the other to be a winner so we never let it get that way. And we'd never discuss personal private matters in public or in front of other people, even friends. It's part of our intimate life, a feeling safe and secure that we keep our lives private and then we each feel trusted and trustworthy.
-
Yes - but he always wins
-
No not really. We typically wait to come home to have our arguments.
-
no. i don't like to do that. people don't want to see us argue. it's uncomfortable.
