Help answer this question below.
Pouncey, you have told me that you are in special ed before, but I still do not think you are stupid!
No, my daughter actually teaches kids with special needs. Especially autistic kids
No. I would feel like you're my mental equivalent. lol
I too have been in Special ED, honestly he is SUCH a SLUT!
No, I've known smart people in special ed.
honestly yes I would.
No,I'd figured you were there because you're a pain in the @$$!!!!!
It's not stupid education. It's special education. Just because you need to be taught differently or at a different pace than others simply makes you different, not less smart.
Think of other things that go by 'special' and compare. I'll bet you find lots of good stuff that's better than the usual version!
Heck no! I've talked to you enough to KNOW you aren't stupid. I'm glad schools have it so people can get extra help if they need it. Anyway, what's wrong with being "special?"
No not at all, I was in two special ed classes for the 6th and 7th grade for my social studies and english classes and I know I was not stupid then and I am not stupid now. I have a friend who is still in special ed classes in the 12th grade and she is definatly not stupid. So I can assume that if you are in SE but can type a question on answer bag with no difficulty then you are not stupid.
I've never viewed special ed kids as stupid. Stupidity is when you're smart enough to know the difference between right and wrong, and choose the wrong way consistently. Special ed folks don't always have the luxury of good judgement, so I've nver held it against them. +5

by pouncey on October 11th, 2009
*LOL* Do not beat them !!! Just show them how you are on AB - if you were retarded would you be able to write good questions? give good answers? and have such good spelling and grammar?
by dea_ex_machina on October 11th, 2009
I suck at english what the hell are you talking about.
by pouncey on October 11th, 2009
you may suck at English - but how many spelling mistakes are there in your questions and answers?
by dea_ex_machina on October 11th, 2009
Many go check and see you yourself. My grammar is shit too.
by pouncey on October 11th, 2009
In this comment thread, you have written 3 comments, with just one spelling mistake!
by dea_ex_machina on October 11th, 2009
Which word did I spell wrong?
by pouncey on October 11th, 2009
retarded
by dea_ex_machina on October 11th, 2009
Oh its with a d cool thanks.
by pouncey on October 12th, 2009
but, do you see the point? You make very few spelling errors, and very few grammar errors, so I cannot see why people would think that you are a retard - not in this room, anyway.
by dea_ex_machina on October 12th, 2009
Uhh people just think im stupid not because of that but I think because I was born with a disorder with lack or social skills and they think im a retard because of that and that I act different. I really want to beat them. I mean really!!!
by pouncey on October 12th, 2009
would beating them really help?
by dea_ex_machina on October 12th, 2009
No not really but I just feel like doing it.
by pouncey on October 12th, 2009
*LOL* - ok.. well get yourself a large inflatable skeleton. Inflate it, then beat it with a pole!

I used to have one of these. I put it in my car, in the passenger seat, and fixed a thread round its finger, and then pulled the thread over the mirror so it was on my side. Then, when i was driving, i pulled the string, so it looked like the skeleton was waving through the window *LOL*. Nearly caused loads of accidents! *LOL*!!!!
by dea_ex_machina on October 12th, 2009
Thats awesome!!! I might do that just to freak people out not just to beat it up. Why not but a hat and sun glasses and use that to get to the car pool lane lol. Thats good thinking no really Ill give you credit for that.
by pouncey on October 12th, 2009
we do not have car pool lanes, but that would be a good idea!
by dea_ex_machina on October 12th, 2009
There is not car pool lanes in the UK?
by pouncey on October 12th, 2009
no - our roads are not wide enough for that - we have much less space available. An american friend visited me, and he was surprised how narrow all the roads are compared with where he lives. Older cities have narrow roads.
But there are bus lanes - only buses can travel in them - that is to encourage more people to travel by public transport.
by dea_ex_machina on October 12th, 2009
Oh How narrow are they? like one car per thing? Are the cars more narrow as well?
by pouncey on October 12th, 2009
a main road - like one that might take you into town can be one or two lanes on each side. Motorways are three lanes wide on each side. But in most towns, especially older towns, the main roads are only one lane wide on each side!
There are country lanes where two cars cannot pass! I drive on a road like that every day - I often have to stop to let other cars pass.
Cars are about the same size - but we tend to drive smaller cars - there are loads of sub compacts on the roads - we are a lot more careful with fuel - we tend to go for cars that are economical on fuel, as it is so expensive here.
by dea_ex_machina on October 13th, 2009
I know about that more than in the US
