I would go to a doctor at a hospital or care unit.. the nurse at your school see's hundreds of teens a day and are prolly not into helping you give the diagnosis you need- they just probably want to hurry up and get away from you lmao (funny but true)- docors are the same way, but THEY know if your miss diagnosed it'll be their asses.. u cant really blame a school nurse if she is wrong.. she might not be fully certified.. ur not gonna walk into a doctors office in a hospital and find a highschool student as your doctor, right? go to the hospital/make a appointment for a REAL doc.

see an independent doctor, most school medical personnel are nureses, not medical doctors. there is a big difference. 2nd a school nurse will just refer you to a regular doctor because they can not treat you.

If you go to a medical doctor he may simply put you on drugs. I highly recommend making an appointment with a psychologist for a real assessment. If he/she feels that medication will help you, she will recommend your medical doctor prescribe it for you. Sometimes with counseling you can learn tools to deal with disorders and avoid the meds.

I wouldn't recommend the school nurse. They probably aren't fully qualified doctors/nurses. See your GP or go in to the hospital and make an appointment. To make it easier, you could go with a good friend/family member.

I would go to your family doctor. He/she will be more up to date on the treatments readily available and will also be able to write you a prescription and/or refer you to someone else if needed. It may be something medical going on (hormone imbalance, etc.) and your doctor will be able to run the blood tests to rule out other causes.
