Did you mean vitamin C? Vitamin C helps keep your resistance up which might help you bounce back faster. As far as Vitamin D goes, unless you never get any sun or go outside, have low calcium levels, or have a parathyroid condition, I would not recommend it. Too much vitamin D is not a good thing. One of the primary purposes for it is to help your body absorb calcium and its not soluble like most vitamins. Your body naturally makes vitamin D when you are outside (the sunshine). The only way you are going to protect yourself from the flu since it is a virus is to either get a flu shot or make sure you wash your hands regularly and avoid people with flu symptoms.
