Did you ever experiment with substances of any kind when you were young? Including household substances like "huffing" aerosols or gas? Or taking pharmecuticals/OTC pills to get high? How young were you and what did you do? Did you grow out of it?

ha ha actually i used to accidentally get high on chlorine when cleaning the pool when i was 10. dont anymore!

- By using. When I was around 12 I couldn't sleep so my mom gave me a sleeping pill her Dr had given her and that was it, after that I was constantly raiding her medicines...Prozac,Xanax,Ambien,Pain pills etc... Then I experimented with Nitrous oxide and a few select aerosols( computer duster/glade air freshner )Then onto pot, coke, exstacy, etc... The typical gateway manisfestation. This is no excuse but when I was 6 I was put on amphetamines for ADHD so I kind of had a predisposition for chemicals. Its sad but true, I have found out that I am not alone though I guess there was an epidemic of yuppie kids that were considered part of generation X doing these things.

- I'm sure you are correct about the not alone thing, what might put you in a smaller group is being aware - and caring. I admit that in any many ways I live a somewhat sheltered life but I'm am aware that drug usage is very high amoung many different age and income groups for lots of different reasons and many will never change and many are slowly having their very life drained away. I do wish you well, the world can sure use another one that is paying attention. +5
