Yes. Either buy over-the-counter Dramamine or ask the doctor what is best for you. Depending on your personal medical history, it would probably be best to see what the doctor recommends.
Even though Dramamine is for motion sickness (which is not your complaint), it generally makes people fall asleep, which is why I'm suggesting it.

You're reading I have a fear of flying and I'm travelling from Vancouver to Rome this coming summer. What could I get to be okay for the flight? Is there anything that would knock me out that the doctor can prescribe?
