Yep. At least as many as shoes I own.

I do not believe in the soul as a spiritual entity. For me it is merely a poetic turn of phrase. The properties that constitute a "soul" are a function of biology, neurology and psychology, in my opinion. But that makes each person no less unique.
-
Nope. And a pretty pointless question really, but I guess many christians think an atheist would care, so + pts for raising it.
-
do christians have a conscience? or will you let "god" dissolve you of wrongdoing?
-
I don't know what a soul is. Can you explain, without using words which depend on your religion, what a soul is and how I would know if I do or do not have one?
-
Yes and revelation 20:15 is what is going to happen to it when you die unless you repent and believe in Jesus Christ.
-
We all have souls...some of us dont want to recognize that we do...Its there..
-
When our body and consciousness decease we return to the state of existence as before being born, hatched or whatever; applicable to all creatures. No one needs a soul, its just another religious concoction.
-
I personally beleive that i do not have a soul. I have no religious affiliation, and an athiest is a person who beleives that there is no god. I believe in no god, nor do i believe make a point to beleive there isn't one. The human mind has conciousness, something that we cant yet determine the origin of. There as of yet is no scientific information to support even the existence of a concience as we know it. Niether is there any imperical evidence to support the existence of a soul. The hypothesis currently relevant for a concience is that quantum variance (the only random thing in the universe [yet not truly random]) is the explanation for concience. Conciousness in this sense is defined as a high concentration of quantum variance within the human brain, allowing thought to occur. As for a soul, or an equivelant existing phenomenon, there has been little information discovered (in terms of evidence) to support its existence.

Nope. I have sentience, a sense of 'me', but as for invisible bits of me that would live on after I die, then, no, I don't believe I have one.

I would sooner classify myself as an agnostic that leans towards atheism. The only reason being that seems like the most logical. . But do I have a soul? Depends on what you mean by that. If you mean the spiritual essense of my consciousness, then no I don't think I have a soul. A soul is usually thought of by people as a transparent version of themself. I know that my eyes, brain, etc. all degenerate after I die, therefore I have no reason to believe that there is such thing as a "soul." . Sometimes, however, it's used to describe the ethics balance (good soul vs bad soul.) In that particular case, then yes everyone does have a soul (I guess unless they are exactly between good/evil.)
-
If you mean soul as in a supernatural entity that "lives on" after my death, then no. And neither do you!
-
irrelevant.

If you are refering to the kind mentioned in any of the Abrahamic religions, then no. I don't think I have anything but my consciousness.
