After compiling a folder of random photos how can i be sure the photos will be transferred onto a disc in the same order via XP

whenever you copy and paste you generally get the same order, but when copying to a disc/disk your going to see the layout of how its going on the cd in your burning software. however its layed out on your cd software is the same order you will get on your cd
