If prayer and faith healing yield little if any result and 'salvation' is a man made concept and if scripture is man's written word, what purpose is there in believing in a God?

You have alot of IF'S there.If a frog had wings he wouldn't bump his butt.Maybe cause man has twisted what true biblical prayer is.Nowhere in scripture does it say the lost can pray to God.All prayer is according to His will.Jesus said the Father knows what you are in need of before you ask.See man's problem is we pray and the prayer is all about us,and our fleshly desires,instead of Glorifying God.
