Original Freddy was cheesy and dumb, but dammit he's Freddy and he'll always be. I'm still seeing the remake. :)

Freddy Kruger wears a Christmas sweater...he cannot be considered scary due to this fact alone... "oh dear, you have a clawed hand... ohhh scary scary" but wait, he wears a Christmas sweater and looks like the guy from the Six Flags commercial *sigh* all fear alleviated
