It seems that, if you can live long enough, you won't be punished for criminal activity. People in their 70's and 80's who run down children at a bus stop, get sympathy from a judge, because they are old and will die soon, but no jail time. Right or Wrong

Hmmm...not so sure. They grabbed Adolph Eichmann twenty five years after the fact in Argentina and hanged his ass. They also nabbed Roman Polanski for child rape that happened decades ago. I think his goose is cooked, as the victim will definitely testify against him. And he drugged her first. Not good, Roman. The wheels of Justice turn slowly, sometimes, but they also can grind exceedingly fine...

I've noticed that too. There have been cases of pensioners not paying their Council Tax in the UK and put into jail, and this always brings out an outcry in the media, but if it had been younger people not a thing would be said. Can't do the time don't do the crime, no matter what age you are. Also if a pensioner is attacked and fights back they become "have a go heroes" and plucky pensioners, but if a twenty year old is attacked and fights back generally both parties will be described as young thugs fighting in the street.

You ever notice that most judges are old too? Hmmmm. Wrong very wrong. When an oldster drives for 20 miles going the wrong way on a highway, and assumes it's everyone else on the road who is wrong...there's a problem with the dude.
