yeah, when I was a kid, 30 years back, I feared going to railway station as I thought the train engine would eat me.... I feared if they would put me in the burning chamber of the locomotive.... I was a kid at that time

I've always found enemy tanks coming at me to be a bit unnerving.

I loved Volkswagon Beetles (the original ones) until my grandfather pointed out that due to their air cooled, fuel injected engines with no shut off in the fuel line in case of accident, they were prone to fires. Because of the rear-engine design, the back seat passengers were at the most risk. Because of the balky seat latch on the front seat and the two door design, there was no fast way out for the rear seat passenger in case of a fire. After that, I didn't like riding in the back seat of a Beetle anymore. Since then, I had a friend who was rear ended in a Beetle and, while it didn't catch fire, it needed a replacement hood. I can't tell you how many junkyards she searched over many, many months before she found a replacement. The problem wasn't a lack of junk Beetles, the problem was that every hood she found that wasn't bent had had the paint burned off and was rusted out. Those engine fires weren't uncommon at all.

Volvo cars, when I was aged 5 to 11, 1998 to January 14, 2004. I thought they had airbags in the back seat. Of course, now, I love Volvos :)

I loathe and am terrified of big rigs trucks. The 18-wheeler drivers around here usually do about 80 miles per hour down the highway that crosses in front of my school and they tend to box you in. There have been occasions where I have had a big rig to the front back and both sides of me, all doing the same speed (around 70 mph). It is extremely scary.
