I am 13 and in year 8. I go to the shops every few weeks and buy a six pack of gum for $4 and sell a single pack for $1 each. It takes a while to profit but if you use something more expensive and sell on even more expensive it'll work.
Depending on the enviorment you live in a great buisness to start would be a landscaping company start small, get a mower and mowe peoples lawn. I did this when I was your age and actually made a decent amount of money around 15/hr 12 years ago. As you get customers in the neighboorhood expand your opereation and offer services such as edging mulching fertalizing ect. If you are not old enough to drive offer these services on the condition that they buy/have delivered the materials. The great thing about a landscape company is that you only need a mower, shovel (square/pointed), rake, wheel barrel and weed wacker to do most jobs.
