It is difficult to differentiate the two from the exterior however in the cockpit the Airbuse's always have side stick and Boeing always use a yoke.

Airbuses are the ones on fire. Boeings are the ones that arrive at their destination safely. For the smaller Airbuses, look for the wing fences that extend just a bit above and below the plane of the wing on the tip. Also, the vertical stabilizers are shaped slightly differently. If you see eyebrow windows in the cockpit, it's almost certainly a Boeing.

BOEING is spealtlike so and AIRBUS is like this sorry feeling mischeivious

An Airbus has a much flatter descent profile than a Boeing aircraft does. What that means is that, when coming in for a landing, a Boeing plane will come in with its nose higher than an Airbus will.

Also if you look at the very rear of the fucelage, Most Airbus jets either have a flat surface or cones down to a hole (the APU exaust), while Boeing jets are rounded or tapered.
