I've always wanted to see the Rockies, and the Hindu Kush (especially the Khyber Pass region). I really do enjoy the Smoky Mountains, though, since they are my home.

There are more majestic and grand, but the Sierra Nevada mountains in California will always hold a special place in my heart. It's where my husband and I used to backpack and camp at least 2-4 times each year.

I would have to say the Rockies, especially down near Boulder. Rocky Mountain National Park is a real gem. Make sure you see it.
