Pale Blood, 1992
Nobody is going to have heard of that one. It was a small release.
It was amongst the most intelligent vampire movies I have ever seen.
I loved Interview With a Vampire. It was excellent. Dracula: Dead and Loving It was of course hilarious but its a whole different type of vampire movie lol
Underworld
Interview with a vampire :)
The Lost Boys. When I first watched it I thought it would be just another corny vampire film, but it turned out to be a great film, and with wonderful soundtrack to boot
At the time Lost Boys kicked my ass, I have never wanted to be a vampire more in my life.
And then came Underworld and sexy ass Kate Beckinsale and Sophia Myles, I have never wanted to do a vampire more in my life
The Lost Boys... for whatever reason, I love that movie.
Nosferatu was just plain creepy.

and
Interview with a Vampire was good, but I liked the book much better.
"Lost Boys"! For sure!!
Edit: or "Nosferatu". A classic.
Fright Night!
I did love the Lost Boys (saw it in a cinema when I was 19, with one of my mates and 5 student nurses - unforgettable!).
Best one I've seen though would have to be Shadow of the Vampire. Very spooky and cool.
I would LOVE to see Barbara Hambly's two vampire books - Those Who Hunt the Night and Travelling With the Dead - turned into movies. They're the best vampire books I've read.
While lost boys is good, i would go with Once Bitten . . . love the ice cream truck scene where Jim Carrey scares the kids with his newly received fangs.
Once Bitten (1985). Jim Carrey in an unforgettable role.
I always dug Bram Stoker's Dracula
Count blacula (Madtv)
Interview With A Vampire
Love at First Bite
Underworld
I've gotta agree with Lunatone, Lost Boys just blew me away. Top notch movie!
Queen of the Damned!!! awesome soundtrack as well
Dracula with Keanu Reeves and Garry Oldman, it was brilliant
Interview With The Vampire
Dracula - Bella Lugosi 1931

The one with Dracula.
Dracula: Dead and Loving It. - It is actually a comedy, but it's really fun. Leslie Neilson is in it.
Apart from those mentioned, one may also check out Vampire Hunter D.
Van Helsing was a very captivating movie and was not a typical example of the vampire genre.
Dracula with Jack Palance as Dracula or Blacula with William Christopher as the vampire
I would have to say Stephen King's "Salems' Lot". An oldie but a goodie.
It would have been "Interview with a Vampire" if they had used someone else to play Lestat. I liked "The Satanic Rites of Dracula" with Peter Cushing as Van Helsing and Christopher Lee as the vampire.
Love at First Bite
It is so stupid it makes you laugh! :>)
Nosferatu the Vampyre... for pure mood and atmosphere this silent classic still gives me the creeps.... runners up would be any Peter Cushing/Christopher Lee Hammer movie and The TV movie Salems Lot... which is still as spine tingling today...
No one did Dracula better than Bela Lugosi.
Horror of Dracula (a classic from 1958)
Lost Boys and Fright Night would be my runner ups.
Queen of the Damned...
It captured the combination of a disturbing, scary entity, and the sexuality that has been cast onto the vampire idea over the centuries. Even the book Dracula had Dracula as a charming, sexy creature. He just happened to be into blood.
Twilight is the best Vampire movie.... I just love dis movie. Senn 4 times a day!!!!!!! Really great....

Salem's Lot but Lost Boys a close 2nd.
"Love at First Bite" was the first vampire movie I can remember watching (over and over again) - the song "I Love The Nightlife" by Alicia Bridges from the scene where they're dancing in the disco is amazing. But, the best vampire movie ever has to be "The Lost Boys"
you have to go with the classics and the original Dracula with Bela Lugosi. He basically invented the character that all of these movies emmulate now in some way. Lugosi is like the Elvis of vampires.
interview with the vampire
I grew up loving The Lost Boys and I still think it is one of my favourite films - I loved the soundtrack too.
Dusk Til Dawn was an amazing film - it went so crazy at the end, a real turn around. Brilliant.
I love Interview with a Vampire. Certain scenes still haunt me in it. And the fact that Tom Cruise has gotten way creepier just adds to the effect of the film.
I would have to say its a tie between "The Lost Boys" and "Fright Night".
When my sister and I saw Dracula with Frank Langella we couldn't stop laughing because his eyes were wiggling like googaly(sp) eyes. By the time the movie was over, everyone who had been seated around us had moved. We felt really bed, but we just couldn't stop laughing. Because of this, I would have to say that version is my favorite.
Blade
Blade.
Dracula.
The three girl vampires from Van Helsing were good, although the Dracula in that one wasn't scary. Plus there are werewolves in it too.
Nosferatu is pretty creepy, and it also has a very realistic vampire in it.
Dracula was good. The one with Winona Ryder; not the black and white one.
The old Dracula was terrible. Yeah, I know it's a classic and all, but I hated it.
Interview with the Vampire sucked. I don't know why everybody likes this one.
Bram Stoker's Dracula.
interview with a vampire ,
Dracula Dead and loving it. its the best. on a more serious note, i'd say either blade or underworld. i like underworld because it is the first vampire film i have seen where they don't have to worry about vampire slayers or humans coming after him.
Love at First Bite.

Well, vampire and werewolf movies are fun! Oh, much apologies for taking long to get back to you. I had some "not enough time for 'baggin'" days. I have seen SO many vampire movies now, though, that they really have to be exceptional to do it for me.
.
Dance of the Damned is also good... about the same vintage as Pale Blood.

American Werewolf in London is my indisputable favourite... it's got a cute wisecracking zombie in it, a hot guy, a beautiful woman and John Landis behind it all :) I also really liked Dog Soldiers- oh my that made me laugh out loud so many times, great script!
.
My only complaint about Vampire movies, the cheaper B-grade ones (I really dont mind B, some are really good) is that they overdo the mood and setting - the setting has to be decadent all the time, the Vampires always have lust for blood on their mind - fair enough but theyre almost always portrayed as 'sexual' creatures as well, which seems to give the directors license to add in too much pointless sex that doesnt do anything much for the story!
