How did you meet your best friend(even if you are not together anymore)?

I met my best friend Emily when she was 13, I was 16. We worked at a day camp and she thought I was the cool older girl. I thought she was cool too. =) We've been "together" for about 8 years now. I like how you put that!

i met my best friend the first day of school when i had just moved. he was the only person that talked to me and we've been best friends for 5 years now. we know EVERYTHING about eachother.

She started out as sort of a friend of a friend that I knew in 7th grade. But, in 8th grade we ended up having almost every class together, and we didn't know anyone else in those classes. So, one day she asked me if she could borrow a pencil, I gave her a cheesy Yugi-Oh pencil, and we were best buds ever since. :]

Through a mutual friend in 6th grade. She (before I knew she would be my friend) was doing some contest, where if you did so many decent book reports, you got to have a slumber party at the school. I was actually really good at the book reports, but I wasn't particularly interested in the slumber party, so I never asked to particpate in the contest. The mutual friend of ours told me that she had a friend who really wanted to have the slumber party, and she asked if I could help put in with some of the reports, so I said yes. I gave her some of my old ones, and wrote a couple newer ones ffor her, and she ended up winning. She thanked me many times, so I became more acquanited with her, and would wave and say hi to her in the halls and whatnot. Sooner or later, she had her schedule changed and ended up being in 3 of my classes. Since I already knew her, we bonded quickly, and became really good friends. So basically, it was my cheating for her to win some stupid school event. I guess there could have been a better way, hahah.

I was new kid in town in 1977 and I went to pick up some groceries for my mom, he was sacking groceries at the store. We struck up a conversation and became friends quickly. I was best man in his wedding and we still get together when we can and talk about old times, usually we schedule a trip to a casino, go hunting or to the horse track. We don't live close together any more but still my best friend.

I moved to a new town in 6th grade. She was the first to take me under her wing and we were inseperable ever since.

I was fourteen when I joined the high school swim team, he was on the team the previous year and in each other's math class, so we clicked. Been friends ever since.

I met her the first year of high school. Some people were making fun of her, so I told them to cut it out or I'd well...put them in line. Lol, that was back in the day when I hung out with the big guys at school. We're complete opposites, but I dont' think anybody could ever replace her! She's so awsome!

I met my bestest friend Tami in kindergarden we are now 35 and live about 1 miles from eachother and talk on phone, have patio parties as much as possible and now our children are all friends as well.
