Technically, they are not the same. For guys - cumming usually means 'ejaculating'. Guys can have orgasms without cumming. Many guys who masturbate before puberty experience 'dry' orgasms before they're old enough to 'cum' (ejaculate). A number of guys report that they were multi-orgasmic before their first ejaculation. Some adult males learn to separate orgasm & ejaculation, and are able to enjoy multiple orgasms.
So, having an orgasm & 'cumming' are not the same things.

Like the above answer, "cum" is another word for "semen". I use the words interchangeably when talking about men..
If I'm talking about myself, or other women, they mean different things. I've had guys as if I came.. and I didn't know how to answer. Not all women actually ejaculate when they have an orgasm. Or, like me, not every time. I can have a mind blowing Orgasm, without "cumming".. Or cum, and not feel fully satisfied.. It really depends. Women have so many different types of orgasms.

yes same thing. (cum is another word for seamen or an orgasm; Did you cum yet?, OR in past tense, came: The women came during sex).
