Remember that it is always Bushes fault. No matter what the question always blame Bush. Let me see Obama promised less troops but is doing the opposite and sending more. Did He lie in order to get elected so he could get into office and enact policies that he wanted no matter how much the American people objected, or is the whole situation in such a quagmire because that buffoon, drunkard, and war monger Bush, putting more troops to clean up his mess is the only way? It has to be because of Bush. Next question. What happened to the 800 billion? Go ask Bush. Blaming Bush is the only way to go if you want to be treated nicely on AB. Oh, and hating God and Christians, but that is for another post.

He didn't. He promised to take troops out of Iraq.
-
Ditto. He said he would take troops out of Iraq.

The war in Afghanistan is not over, so he could bring the troops home, but it's not likely. The 800 Billion Dollars (not pounds), well, we could sell Alaska back to the Russians, along with Sarah Palin.

Twas Iraq, not Afghanistan. The same as always, into the hands of the wonderful Conservative no-bid contractors. http://www.corporations.org/privatization.html

IT isn't always JUST the president. Sometimes it is the group he is affiliated with. They put hurdles in front and jump them at weird paces. Is the finish line in sight? Anyway, I respect anyone who is president because even when you say something you can't always get what you want. Remember, "Read my lips, no new taxes."? It is hard to say absolutes when there is a dynamic system.

He said what he needed to say in order to get elected. Those "in the know" knew darned well that it isn't that easy. Sure we could take the troops out of Iraq and even Afghanistan, but the American voter would be appalled at the aftermath.

Bozo Obama's campaign was all based on lies and he still to this day. BTW, we don't use pounds, we have the dollar. It might not be worth much and with Bozo Obama as the president, the dollar will be worth even less.
