The House of Lords is the Upper House of British Parliament. It is a non elected body of review, consisting of the nobility of England. "A Day In the Life" was a product of the merging of two songs by Lennon and McCartney. The first part, a very impressionist piece of writing, began when Lennon was reading the newspaper one day..two articles stuck in his mind..one was the death of an acquaintance in a car accident...and the other was a stupid story about the filling in of potholes...the second part, written by McCartney was just the routine of a morning commuter who goes into a dream... the music is amazing and the ending spectacular. I'll never forget my brother rushing in with Peppers, just hot off the shelves, and throwing it on the record player...we sat there our mouths open...

Is the death of paul McCarney,A car accident in England happened and a crowd of people stood and stared,they'd seen his face before yada yada yada. not sure about the house of lords meaning? but if you can get your hands on an original "Album" and open it there's a picture with paul and the band, only paul is dressed in black, barefoot, and he's got his back to the camera & the rest of the band is facing forward! It is also said they went to great lengths to keep him hidden for a while as a joke, and released a short commercial before a movie at a theater. the ad saying; is he alive or dead? then show him crossing a street on foot!!!
