To Philadelphia, which is a boring 2 hour flight from Georgia. I was SO happy when it was over, because one of my fears is dying in a plane crash. I'm not as afraid of dying in a crash as I am at the thought of sharing my bed with spiders, but it's pretty close...

So have you had the nightmare yet?
Avatar everyones good at su Sep, 13 2007 at 12:49 PM
i agree with u the most scariest thing on the plane is crashin
Avatar pagansex Jan, 07 2008 at 11:33 AM
Perhaps the scariest thing is THINKING about crashing. In most airplane crashes that result in fatalities, I suspect that the mortal exit is pretty quick. As a private pilot, I can also assure you that fear of crashing is most pronounced when you realize there is no one there to fly the plane but you.

The first one I definitely remember is to Iceland at age 6, with the MIT concert band cause my dad was playing oboe in it.

whats the food like over there
Avatar Koz_Dracon - Nelson Remembered Sep, 13 2007 at 05:53 PM
Didn't have any on Midway but Japan emphasizes freshness at better restaurants, trying to bring out the characteristics of the prepared material - taste, color, texture. Traditional Japanese food stresses the presentation as much as the taste.

I have traveled with my family while growing up. the first plane ride that i was on all by myself was to one of the caribbean islands. i was 23. not that young. the flight was delayed and therefore missed the connecting flight. i had to stay overnight at a hotel in a country i had never been to. this was my first time traveling alone.

yes i was. i was by myself for the first time in a different country. first the airline on which i had traveled couldn't find a hotel for me. my connecting flight wasn't until the next day in the evening. it was the first time for me to be alone in a hotel room. i remember i hardly slept the whole night. i called home to my parents and they were worried too. if i was with a friend i might have enjoyed the experience. i guess for some ppl first time on a plane and going to a foreign country alone might not matter.
Avatar Stableboy Mar, 30 2007 at 09:35 PM
Well I can see how that would be scary for you. But now you're a little more experienced, eh? A world traveler! :-)
Avatar galaxy Mar, 30 2007 at 09:43 PM
yeah i am used to it now :)..after that first time..i have traveled by myself a few times.
