To Philadelphia, which is a boring 2 hour flight from Georgia. I was SO happy when it was over, because one of my fears is dying in a plane crash. I'm not as afraid of dying in a crash as I am at the thought of sharing my bed with spiders, but it's pretty close...

I went from my birthplace (Ukraine) to the United States (my current residence).
The first one I definitely remember is to Iceland at age 6, with the MIT concert band cause my dad was playing oboe in it.
To New Zealand at age 9, to visit my grandparents...I can still see myself in my mind's eye, going rigid as the plane banked....terrified....LOL

well the first time i went on an airplane ride i was flying to missouri for my grandma's funeral not a happy ride but first time being on a plane was cool.
I have traveled with my family while growing up. the first plane ride that i was on all by myself was to one of the caribbean islands. i was 23. not that young. the flight was delayed and therefore missed the connecting flight. i had to stay overnight at a hotel in a country i had never been to. this was my first time traveling alone.

When I was 10 years old, we went to visit my Uncle in California and to Disneyland.
So, my first plane trip was from Rochester, NY to San Francisco, California.
Des Moines,Iowa,the boredom capital of the free world.It is also a dangerous place to drive,as the corn grows right up to the edges of all intersections,making viewing of oncoming traffic nearly impossible.
Los Vagas at the age of 10 days old. It seems my mother had horrible luck when it came to poker.
My first (and only) airplane ride was to Houston, Texas. That was 4 ever ago.

Well there were toilets front and back but as I was in Isle 34c and stuck next to a big Asian chap who had fallen asleep, I just had to cross my legs and read the in-flight aftershave catalogue.
New York, NY. My daughter was the the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
I went to see uncle fester.

From Los Angeles to Boston. From there I went to Zurich and then to Geneva. This was for a high school band tour of Europe in 1973.
When we left Zurich two weeks later, half of the band was in an airplane in which one of the engines exploded on takeoff. The plane immediately landed and no one was hurt. I was on that plane.
To Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida i loved the plane ride

To good old Peoria, Illinois, as my husband had been critically injured in a national motorcycle race there. He raced for the Harley Davidson factory.

Before I was six months old I am not exactly sure. I was brought to Europe to be displayed to my Fathers family and the Irish side of my Mothers family.

the first time I was ever in a plane was a cesna 172 for a scenic flight when I was 8.
The first time I traveled on a commercial flight was when I was about 30.
i went to Disney World in Orlando when i was 7. it was so amazing! :)
10 years old, my sister and I flew to Florida to see our dad... Massive heart attack at only 36 years old. He survived another two years and died 2 mos after he finally received a heart transplant. Needless to say, my first plane trip wasn't for pleasure.

I was there for 5 years and for a pre-teen it was quite exciting (we stayed in a suburb outside of Johannesburg beside an airport). And because of news blackouts we didn't know anything that was going on (this was the horrible days of the mid to late 80s). But I still saw *lots* of social inequality - the separate buses, the "white only" signs. I saw police set dogs on open-air church services, I saw parents remove their children from a swimming pool because a black girl had got in. Shocking stuff, and doubly shocking because it was *normal*...
