Based on her vice presidential bid, I don't think Sarah Palin would be a good fit for the Presidency. Her conservative views would negatively impact stem cell research, for example; by electing someone whose religious views influence how and where tax dollars will be spent to fund such research, people who would benefit from stem cell research would be denied potentially life-saving treatment. I don't think policy makers who let their religious beliefs influence their judgement should be allowed to have as much power as to be able to say where nonreligious taxpayers' dollars go.

Well, I guess he didn't do a very good job with McCain, so who the heck is he to make such a comment? You don't see the media attacking any other GOP candidates for president in 2012, so that tells me one thing, they are afraid that Palin will get the nomination! This man is not an idiot. However, I think it would be interesting if she actually did manage to become president. I would love to be able to bitch endlessly about how awful it is and how I'm going to leave the country and shit.
