  • Morals are deeply personal. They are customized to ones self. I wouldn't let you influence my morals in the SLIGHTEST and I would expect you to tell me to shove it if i tried to impose on you.
  • We live in society. No one person can decide morality ultimately, because his or her decision will impinge upon the rights and liberties of others. That is why we have a collective morality, called law, to mediate between people who have crossed each others' boundaries, or to punish someone who has crossed into another's unbidden.
  • You have to decide what your own morals are. It's not up to anyone else but yourself. Granted some peoples morals are a little messed up, but it still doesnt give anyone the right to change them.
  • Of course not you know we should just get rid of all laws because laws are a judgement on morality and who needs to be judged on their morality? We should just have a system where people do whatever the hell they want. I don't think we should judge a person. But I do think that if there is no societal morality or no laws then our entire system would break down around us.
  • I have always believed that you couldn't legislate morality, I've been proven wrong a couple of times....
