I have a 1950 Ford coupe for street cruising only. It HAD a chevy 327 engine. I have a friend who will give me either a 327 from a Chev 1/2 ton pickup (1966) or a Chevy 350 from a 1982/83 Chevy Blazer. Will 350 take 327 manifolds, valve covers etc? Thanks

most small block chevy manifolds and valve covers are interchangable prior to 1986

Caution!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not go any newer as the SBC's are very different after I beleive 1984. But most of the old SBC parts will. One thing, the 327 has a puke tube and the valve covers do not have breather caps.

Everything will actually fit but like the other gentleman stated. they were changed in 86 so the valve covers were different in that the bolts went through the center instead of on the edges. also the 350 has a positive cranckcase ventelation (PCV) that you must use.

out of experience they will exchange with no problem. one thing though go with the 327 bc motors werent castrated prior to about 1971 and you will enjoy the performance and endurance alot more.
