My PS2 worked fine until yesterday. It wont play games. It acts like there is nothing in there. There is no "Reading disk" message or anything. It acts like there is no game in there. I can do everything else fine. I just cant use any disks in it..?

I've had this problem before...it could be a number of things. The first thing I always try is using a can of air - aim it directly at the lens and spray for 30 seconds. If this doesn't help, I'm not sure what the problem is.

iv had this probem many many timess i have gone through 3 ps2s....... um if this is the first time this is happening then def clean it out with this site it can helo if you dont have the slim http://arstechnica.com/articles/paedia/hardware/ps2.ars if you have the slim use this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izY7pth8vKI and just blow it out with compressed ir tank and do not spray at the lens that will dammage it take window washer and put it on a light rag and GENTLY wipe across lazor thats all i know contact me for more qs dannykay0616@optonline.net
