This is an interesting question, necause it belies two unstated presuppositions; 1. That having an antique hai brush is desirable. In fact I agree with this presupposition. 2. The other is that a hair brush that old must be filthy. Well it could be, but not necessarily. I do not remember the brand of my brush, possibly Kent, but distinctly british. The handle is hardwood and the bristles are boar. The handle split once because I left it too long sterilizing in bhot water, but I glewed it beack togheer. It has lost one tuft of its bristles, but who ever gets in when I have gone to that grand hair stylist in the sky I hope will know what an honor he has, and I hope it lasts his lifetime as well.
