It is my mums birthday today. I know what I want to write in her card, but I dont know how to say it to make it flow... How can you make this sound more 'attractive'? (see answer)

We couldn't have landed with some one more perfect than you as our mother. You are our best friend not just our mum!! you taught us (and are still constantly teaching us) the most important things in our lives (and some things that really arent that important at all) and we are who we are because of you! this, we cherish... as the card said "love is a million small things" you definately topped a million!

Dearest Mom, It's hard to find perfection in this world, but you are the perfect mom for us. You are mother, friend, teacher, pal, trusted confidant. Because of you, I am a better person and I will have the memory of you and the gift you gave our family of being a perfect role model to use as a guide throughout my lifetime. Thanks mom.

I think it sounds wonderful and the suggestions all sound really good as well. I would throw in something personal (something she has done that you admire her for -- i.e. challenges she has faced and what you learned watching her tackle them, etc.)
