Find the font you are looking for.
Download it and install it into the Fonts folder.
Restart GIMP or whatever application you want the new fonts to appear in and they should be in the fonts dropdown when you use the type/text tool.
I have managed to view a scanned image saved as a .tiff file - I now would like to upload the image to a webpage for my friends to see but am not sure how to do it. Will they need to download software such as 'infranview' in order to view the .tiff file?

Gimp 2.4.6 on windows xp sp3
complex selection, rectangle, then intel scissors w/add option. have exact area i want modified, with marching ants. no paint tool has any effect on selection.
tried anchoring
no luck
