I think they are there to stay unless there is a violation you can flag it for. Oh misunderstood. If you want to not get the notices just hit unsubscribe the next notice you get.

Go to your summary details, after any comment you receive at the bottom is almost invisible text that says unsubscribe from comments, click on the text and your problem is solved.

Great question. Just yesterday I 'unsucribed' to a question because a conversation had begun between respondents andI didn't want to continually be notified of a new comment only to look and see that the new comment was part of their conversation.

All you have to do is click UNSUBSCRIBE, you will then no longer get the comments posted in your feedback. You cannot dictate what people write in a comment thread even under our own questions we do not own the space. The button is your best bet you cannot ask anyone to remove comments that are not offensive . Just being off subject does not qualify I am afraid.
