Should i buy an engagement ring and a wedding ring ?. whats the norm in the UK with buying an engagement ring and a wedding ring, or just use the engagement ring ? whats normal and expected plus advice on what you should spend in £'s?

Traditionally you would buy an engagement ring then a wedding ring (when you get married) Male rings, both engagement and wedding are optional. Sometimes a watch is givn instead. Apparently an engagement ring is supposed to cost 1 months wage. Here's a hint though - it's all bulls**t. Do you want to marry her? does she want to marry you? because it shouln't matter how much a ring costs or how many rings you have it should be about your love for each other.
