Is there any rule for service toss fault? During our USTA match double today, Opponent called fault on the toss ball. When I serve from add court side, he clamed that the ball in the air must be within add court when I toss it, not over the other side in

as long as your feet are behind the baseline and on the correct side of the center hash mark when you begin the service toss and never touch a line until after you hit the ball, it doesn't matter where the ball is when it is hit. Both feet are also allowed to be in the air when you hit the serve, but you can't run and jump.
