  • You know some bad smokers. I can completely understand being annoyed about the littering, and breaking the smoking regulations, a lot of smokers do that. Being insufferably rude though? That is not connected to being a smoker. As a smoker, I find that statement a little offensive and rude myself.
  • You have a questionable group of friends.
  • being an ex smoker my self I have to disagree with you on all fronts, I see just as many non smokers who litter and are rude as some smokers are ... as for the no smoking regulations most are a bloody joke. Fair enough the rules for smoking indoors I agree with but the ones out doors I would break as well, maybe if some of the non smokers were not so bloody self righteous and bombastic then smokers wouldn't get their backs up
  • As a RUDE smoker I will tell you that this question makes you seem completely self absorbed. Yes I through a cigarette but out of my window every once and while. Yes sometimes I am not exactly 30 feet from the door. Most times because I dont want to stand in the middle of the road. No I am not insufferably rude unless it is to someone like you, who stereo types people based on some bad experience.
  • I'm with you on this one - I have to turn on the fan in the room everytime I log on to Answerbag - the smoke just blows out of my computer! PS - Don't forget to mention that the smokers force us to smell that stale odor all over their skin and hair. It doesn't take long after a shower for the smoke layer to build up!
  • You know 100 smokers?
  • blinders inconsiderate
  • If I am in a public park or out in the woods, no I won't just toss my bud on the ground as it can poison animals, insects ect. If I am at a mall, I usually put it in the bud out bin. If there is no bin then I toss it on the ground, and it's now the companies responsibility to keep their premise clean and presentable! As for smokers being rude...hahahaha ok then! If anything I would argue that smokers are the less rude ones. Most of the smokers I know are a hell of a lot more relaxed and passive than the non-smokers I know. Your question is a perfect example; tense as fuck and looking for reasons to be offended! "Relax. .....RELAX!!!!!!!!!" Terminator
  • I also consider it rude for someone to smoke in such a way that other people must breathe their smoke to enter a public building. If I should mention I don't appreciate their behavior, and would they mind not doing that where people with health problems must walk through their smoke to get into the building, THEY get offended. I suppose that makes ME rude, huh? My point is, the folks who don't care/are rude by far outnumber the folks who do. Once I did this, and the store manager became worried for my safety and threatened to call the police before throwing the guy out. Hmmm.
