i had several phases. i went through a goth phase, a hippie phase, a punk phase. i'm happy with my jumble of different styles.

I was an emo kid without being emo. I definitely didn't dress the part, but I acted depressed (I actually was for a while) and actively sought attention.

Punk, punk, indie =P I went through an interesting phase of being incredibly fatalistic yet somehow adopting the absurdist branch of existentialism as a personal philosophy after having read too much Albert Camus. Almost killed me =P

I had a phase where all my art was pop art. Didn't make my teacher too happy. . .

A long, curly hair phase, a video gamer phase, a cussing phase (that lasted just a year, thank goodness) and most importantly, an Answerbagging phase that survives to this day - and probably for a very long time, with some breaks.
