Area = π·rª Area = π·50ª Area = 7853.982 mmª π·rª = 7853.982 · 5 rª = 12500 r = √12500 r = 111.803 The second circle will need a radius of 111.803 mm (diameter = 223.607 mm)

As area is a sqaure relationship to diameter, to have 5 times the area it must have root5 (√5) times the diameter.
