So my BF and his best friend (also my very good friend) work for my Moms BF. We all went camping a few weeks ago and apparently my mom and her BF thought that myself and my BF's friend "have a thing". They were having this conversation in front of my sister and step brother(who also works with them). So he comes to work last week and tells a bunch of people, which leads to my BF finding out being worried that it could be true. After the three of us talked about it and realized it was something that someone else said, I flipped out on my Mom. Was I wrong in doing this? She could have ruined 2 friendships and a 4 year relationship in a single swoop!
