I don't see why not. As long as it's nothing too extreme that would alter a lot, as you would not longer be a Christian and would have to find your new affiliation. We all have to find our own path to the Divine.

Here's the beauty of Buddhism: It's not technically a religion. There is no Buddhist "god". Buddhism is a philosophy. It is COMPLETELY possible to mesh Buddhism with Christianity. You MAY have "words" with some of your fellow christians if you let them in on your acceptance of this other culture, but there's no prescribed statement in the Christian scripture that would prevent you from following some of the tenets of Buddhism.

Personally, I'd say you shouldn't be involving yourself in any religion if you are a christian. God speaks many, many times against this. "spiritualizing" is a bad thing to encourage anyways. You are living a life in God, not "practicing" with him :). However, wise words are wise either way, so should you reject something from the words of a buddhist person because they are buddhist? I don't think so really. However when it comes to anything other than "be nice" it can get sticky and it is best to just say "thank you, bye". If this is in regards to something that has been said, it sounds to me like you are mistaken in what someone has said before ^^).

Picture this. God in His infinite wisdom creates man with his vast imagination. Billions of people are born and each has a special personality and existence and experience. Now man wants to thank and worship God the best he can. So, he uses different methods to pray to God. He embraces Jesus, Buddah, Krisna, Allah and says I love you lord through all avenues. How can this be a bad thing to anyone anywhere? It's all the same. It's all love of the Creator. Bless all faiths and all prayers.

Nahhh relgion is something used to help u through life and unite u with the general community that believes in the same things u do. Religion is meant to help u, no matter how many religions u have they all have the same basic rules (dont harm others, dont steal, dont kill, etc.)

If it's something that the one religion you are following teaches is wrong to do, then yes. If it's just a personal decision, no. You have to judge it by the principles you are living by
