Help answer this question below.

I have a '98 Toyota Corolla and my cigarette lighter quit working after I used a power converter in it. My husband says he's checked the fuses and they are okey. Can you either tell me which fuses to check myself or what else might be wrong? Thanks!

I fix it just a few minutes ago. I found a hide fuse.
In my 2004 Corolla LE, there is one fuse box under the hood and another fuse box behind the steering wheel, between the pedals and the steering wheel (in some models is behind the glove box). I change the cigar fuse (15 A) and works the cigarrette lighter, the stereo and the clock again.

I have the same problem. I did the same (Power converter in it), but in my Corolla LE 2004 doesn't works the cigarrette lighter, the stereo and the clock, the fuses are ok, so what can we do?

Forget about fixing the lighter. Give up the fags instead. I did it a few weeks ago, and it feels good!!

- Thanks for the advice, Trigger, but I've never smoked a day in my life. I do, however, find myself needing the cig lighter for stuff like cell phone chargers and navigation systems.

My lighter just died, out of the blue, so I replaced it. Sometimes they just go!
