Why do SOME gays take things so damn personally and try their best to find negativity in questions that isn't there? Seeming very quick to jump the gun.

There are certain groups who believe they are entitled to special privileges due to their race, sexual orientation, etc. If you do not give them these special privileges then clearly you must be racist, homophobic, etc. If your lips are moving you must be giving such people compliments, not asking questions of them.
