I may not be religious but im not stupid either lol. That would be praying for lightning to hit me the next time there is a storm.

I do that all the time in yahoo chatrooms it's rather fun going in the religious rooms and doing that. I also email satanic churches and ask them why they believe in satan and ask them if they are going to put a spell on me that doesn't work.
-
I would feel no need to start an argument when (obviously) my opinion would not be welcomed.

Ask them to use all of there powerful praying abilities to make even the smallest of miracles happen? After that will obviously fail, debate them on all of the holes in the bible. Then tell them you will pray to them that they will wake up and become a realistic person one day. lol
-
yes i would debate it in a cival manner to get all different points of views from diffrent ages.

It depends on the situation. If I'm invited to a wedding or a celebration as a friend, then no. If I'm invited to discuss my beliefs then sure. Of course, that assumes my privacy is respected. If someone tries selling me on their faith then no holds are barred and I get to decide whether to go into it or not. But even then I would let my manners guide me. +5

What for? I see no purpose in discussing unimportant things, that can only spawn conflict. . A mature person, both Christian and non-Christian will not behave in an insane way, because of their relgion. . As long as nobody forces me to do, think or feel anything, and if their actions based on religion don't influence my life negatively, I don't care a bit about people's religious beliefs. . Just do Your thing and don't backstab my life and I won't do it either.
-
No, because I've learned something from life: Being well received is always more important than being right. I won't pretend to believe as they do, but I won't debate their beliefs either.
-
Only if they invited me to debate them. Otherwise, it serves no real purpose.
-
Real world, I would keep my mouth shut. They have every right to their beliefs. I don't want them trying to convert me. +2

I'm a Christian and I can say I definatly wouldn't say anything. lol I wouldn't be able to deal with all the forceful opinions from the "Jesus Freaks" of the bunch.

I have been in the situation. I have a whole new respect for the folks who stood up to the Salem witch trials and Spanish Inquisition. Those people had imminent death if they hadn't chosen their words carefully. What are the chances a Christian would do that to me? No where near the chances of the two previous time periods I already mentioned, however, it is still possible considering the murder of Dr. Tiller. . I ultimately decided that the no doubt animosity that would ensue was not worth me getting my 2 cents in. I am both ashamed and embarassed by it.

I guess I would be like I always am, just friendly, have a conversation, see where it leads.
