  • I would think you work really hard and make no money. There is absolutely nothing you could say to get into my house.
  • Wasting your time but, atleast you got a job. Good luck. :)
  • I know few people who have had jobs like that. A friend of mine used to sell vaccums door to door. Its really hard to convince someone to allow a stranger into thier let alone to try and sell them something. He did really well cause he knew his product and portrayed confidence in the vaccum just as well he tailored each presentation according to the customer. Location was key too!! Good Luck!!
  • What is to be lost by trying? Your chances of direct success are slim. I made my stab at direct sales over 20 years ago, pitching appts over the phone and doing in home presentations. I failed miserably. Meanwhile I continued looking for post-college "real job" employment. The experience of semi-cold calling and doing sales presentations made interviewing seem very easy by comparison. I finally got an entry level job after nearly two years of trying.
  • Kirby has had this approach for years and I've yet to know ONE person who was able to retire. I'm sorry, but I think you need to look elsewhere!
