It is puzzling me why an astonishing 50 Answerbag members have opted for the User-Name "Anonymous"; how do you tell which is which,and why don't they choose their own individual User-Name like everybody else?

Actually, there are many thousands of 'Anonymous' users on Answerbag -- that's the default account name if you don't make up your own, and lots of people just log in one time and then leave, never getting interested enough to make their own account name. But what you're talking about is probably the Anonymous users on the leaderboard, yes? That's a different story. Most of those had personalized usernames and avatars and fairly long histories, but then got upset or disillusioned and angry. They left the site, and deleted their profile content, and changed their names back to Anonymous as a sort of protest, or in order to wash away their history to some degree. It's a surprisingly common reaction.
