Honestly, if you've ever watched those storm chasers, they drive forever trying to catch these storms, taking video of them & driving away. So I wouldn't wait for it to hit my home. I'd take my family in the car and drive like hell in the opposite direction. Probably not for everyone, with the rain, lightening & hail. But I'm Go'in. (PEACE)
Well, it'd be nice if I had a basement, or crawlspace of some sort. So I'd be trying to remember what all that other important stuff you're supposed to know was. :)
flashlight, bottled water, some quick snack foods like peanut butter and crackers or other things that don't need to be cooked, radio with batteries, first aid supplies (just in case) and my daughter's diapers, wipes, etc I can do a lot in 15 minutes.
wtf is a tornado doing in Washington???
Gallons of water, soap, food, Candles. Batteries. Lights that run on batteries. Change of clothes. I think I'm done. Asprin. Books.

You're reading A tornado Is soon to be coming, and you have 15 minutes to gather your needs and go to the basement / crawlspace / etc. What would you take with you?
